Practical AI · Fixed fee · Six weeks

Most AI projects stall.
Yours won't.

We build working AI for your business in six weeks, for a fixed fee, with running costs you can read. You don't need to be technical, and you don't need to be on any particular cloud — that part is our job.

Why now

Your competitors haven't started either

AI in small business is still rare. Moving first is cheaper than it looks — and for AWS customers, it often pays for itself.

16%

of UK businesses use any AI at all

UK government research, February 2026. Your competitors haven’t started either — the advantage is still there for the taking.

6 weeks

from first call to working software

One fixed fee, agreed before we start. A demo every week, and an honest answer at the end — even if that answer is "don’t proceed".

30–40%

recovered from a typical AWS bill

Already on AWS? What our cost reviews usually find is enough to pay for the AI pilot outright. If you’re not, this simply doesn’t apply — the AI work doesn’t care where your systems live.

Working examples

What AI actually does in a small business

Not robots, not magic — software that takes the repetitive part of a job and gives the hours back. These are the kinds of things a Launchpad proves.

Answer the same questions, once

Now   Your inbox fills with the same twenty questions every week.

With AI   An assistant drafts each reply from your past answers. Your team checks and sends.

Paperwork that types itself

Now   Someone retypes invoices, delivery notes and contracts into the system.

With AI   Amounts, dates and terms land in your spreadsheet or accounts package on their own.

Ask your own documents

Now   The answer is in a manual, a policy or an old proposal — somewhere.

With AI   Ask in plain English, get the answer back with the source it came from.

Quotes built on past jobs

Now   Estimates start from a blank page and whoever wrote the last one.

With AI   A draft quote based on what similar jobs actually cost you, ready to adjust.

Notes that file themselves

Now   Call notes live in notebooks and heads, and the CRM is always behind.

With AI   Meetings summarised and logged against the right customer, the same day.

Support that sorts itself

Now   Every ticket waits in one queue until someone reads it.

With AI   Tickets arrive sorted and routed, with a suggested reply already drafted.

Your systems stay where they are — on-prem, Microsoft, Google, or a folder of spreadsheets. We've built on AWS for a decade; you never have to log into it.

Services

What we do

Three offers, each with a fixed scope and a clear deliverable.

Flagship · AI Launchpad

Ship working AI in six weeks

A fixed-fee proof of concept built with your data. We run it on cloud infrastructure we manage — you don't need to be on AWS, or ever log into it. Weekly demos while we build. At the end: software you can try, with the running costs attached.

  • Working prototype on your data
  • Production cost projections
  • Implementation roadmap
  • Fixed fee, six weeks

Security & Cost Optimisation Blueprint

Cut your AWS bill

A two-week Well-Architected review of the pillars that pay for themselves: cost and security. We fix critical issues while we’re in there — and if we don’t find 25% in savings, you don’t pay.

  • No savings found, no fee
  • Security fixes included
  • Report and roadmap in two weeks

Build Better on AWS

Foundations that hold up

Architecture, migrations, landing zones and DevOps — with AWS MAP funding where your workload qualifies. For teams that want deployments to be boring.

  • Cloud migrations & MAP funding
  • Landing zones & governance
  • DevOps & SRE

How we work

From first call to handover

Every engagement runs the same way. You'll know the price and the timeline before any work starts.

  1. 01

    A short call

Thirty minutes, no pitch deck. We work out together whether there is a fit and where the value would be.

  2. 02

    Assessment

We look at your AWS estate, your data and the use case, then send a written scope with a fixed price.

  3. 03

    Fixed-fee delivery

Six weeks for an AI Launchpad, two for a Blueprint review. Weekly demos — you see progress, not promises.

  4. 04

    Handover

Documentation, knowledge transfer and 30 days of support. No lock-in; the aim is to leave you self-sufficient.

Case studies

Real engagements, with numbers

How we've helped clients cut costs, tighten security and ship faster.

Acorn (Compliance Platform)

HealthTech / SaaS

Acorn needed to launch 'Squirrel 2,' a critical compliance platform for the NHS and healthcare providers. As an incredibly cost-conscious company, they required a secure, scalable infrastructure that could move off expensive EC2 instances while meeting strict NHS compliance standards.

  • Successful Launch of Squirrel 2: The platform went live with zero downtime, immediately serving NHS and private healthcare clients
  • 100% Compliance Confidence: The architecture successfully passed strict due diligence, enabling Acorn to sell into highly regulated NHS trusts without friction
  • Scalable Foundation: The new infrastructure automatically adjusts to traffic spikes, ensuring performance never degrades for compliance officers using the tool

Alluvial (Institutional Liquid Staking)

FinTech / Web3

Institutional investors needed a compliant way to stake assets. They required the yield of staking but needed the flexibility to toggle between 'Private' (compliant) and 'Liquid' (public) states based on shifting regulatory landscapes.

  • Regulatory Flexibility: Provided a technical solution to a legal problem, allowing the product to launch despite regulatory ambiguity
  • Audit-Ready Code: The strict CI/CD and typed Go infrastructure ensured the codebase passed multiple external security audits with flying colours
  • High Availability: The Kubernetes-based off-chain layer ensured that data feeds and APIs remained responsive even during periods of high network congestion

EDSports (EdTech Platform)

Education / Gaming

EDSports wanted to bring Minecraft Education esports to schools, but most schools rely on low-spec Chromebooks that cannot run the game locally. They needed a zero-install, GDPR-compliant solution.

  • 100% Hardware Agnostic: High-fidelity Minecraft now runs smoothly on $150 Chromebooks and ten-year-old laptops
  • Instant Access: No installation or patching required by school IT admins. Students simply log in and play
  • Teacher time back: The custom launcher reduced setup time from 20 minutes to 30 seconds, maximising learning time

About us

A small, senior team

We're AWS-certified architects and engineers who've spent the last decade inside enterprise cloud estates — building them, migrating them, and finding out where the money goes.

We work with the AWS frameworks that have earned their keep — Well-Architected Reviews, the Migration Acceleration Program — and we charge fixed fees, because day rates reward slow work.

AWS clients typically see around 35% off their cloud spend, with a stronger security posture to go with it. The AI work draws on the same engineering — pointed at your business, wherever your systems happen to live.

FAQ

Questions we hear a lot

What if you don't find 25% in savings?

Then the review is free.

That's the deal on our Security & Cost Optimisation Blueprint: if we can't find at least 25% in potential cost reductions, you don't pay. We can offer that because 78% of companies overspend on AWS, and the causes are usually the same — no tagging discipline, no Reserved Instance strategy, instances sized for a launch day that never came.

In 20+ reviews so far, we've averaged 30% in savings found.

What do we need to bring to an AI Launchpad?

Three things:

  • A problem worth solving — a process that eats hours, questions your data could answer, work that queues up. If you're not sure which one to pick, that's what the first week is for.
  • Some of your data — even a sample. We build the prototype on your data, not a demo dataset, because that's the only way the result means anything.
  • Someone who can say yes — a sponsor who'll watch the weekly demos and make the call at the end.

You don't need an AI strategy document. The Launchpad usually replaces one.

What does the AI Launchpad cost?

Typically £15,000–£25,000, fixed. Where you land in that range depends mostly on data readiness — how much work it takes to get your data cleanly in front of the model. The exact figure is agreed in writing before we start, and it doesn't move after that.

We're currently offering our first three Launchpad clients roughly half the usual fee, in exchange for a named case study and a reference call.

The Security & Cost Optimisation Blueprint is priced differently: no upfront cost, and if we don't find at least 25% in potential savings, no fee at all.

We're not on AWS — does that matter?

Not at all. The AI prototype runs on infrastructure we set up and manage. Your systems stay exactly where they are — on-prem, Microsoft, Google, or nothing more than spreadsheets and email.

We connect to your data through exports or simple integrations, and if the pilot goes to production, we run the infrastructure side. You never need to log into AWS or learn what any of it means — that's the part you're paying us for.

The only offer that requires AWS is the cost-saving Blueprint, for the obvious reason that it reviews an AWS bill.

How long do engagements take?

The Blueprint takes two weeks. The AI Launchpad takes six. Both are fixed-fee, priced before we start.

Blueprint: week one is the audit — costs, security, architecture — with an initial findings report. Week two we implement: critical fixes, budget alerts, tagging, tuning. You end with a full Well-Architected report and roadmap.

Launchpad: week one we scope the use case and look at your data. Weeks two to five we build, with a demo every week. Week six you get the working prototype, production costings and a route to live.

Both come with 30 days of support after delivery.

Do you require long-term contracts?

No. Every engagement is fixed-fee with a defined end date, and there's nothing to cancel afterwards.

Plenty of clients take the Blueprint report, implement it themselves, and come back months later with a new project. That suits us fine — we'd rather be invited back than locked in.

What makes you different from other AWS consultancies?

We only do AWS, and we put senior engineers on every engagement.

  • The people you meet on the first call are the people who do the work — no junior staff padding hours
  • Fixed fees with named deliverables, not open-ended day rates
  • We fix critical issues during a review rather than listing them in a PDF
  • If we don't find 25% in savings on a Blueprint, you don't pay
Why should I trust your consultancy?

Fair question — every consultancy says they're experts. Here's what you can check:

  • We're an official AWS Partner, and our consultants hold AWS certifications with 10+ years of enterprise cloud work behind them
  • Our case studies name the clients and the numbers — zero-downtime launches, NHS compliance sign-off, 30-second Minecraft deployments
  • The Blueprint guarantee is in writing: no 25% savings found, no fee
  • The first call is free, and the people on it are engineers

Bring us a use case. We'll tell you what it costs to prove.

A free 30-minute call with an engineer, not a salesperson. If there's no fit, we'll say so on the call.
